DR. DAN CALDWELL

Dr. Dan Caldwell is proudly married to his high school sweetheart, Kari. The love for veterinary medicine runs deep in their whole family. Kari's dad is a veterinarian, and working with him confirmed Dan's desire to be a vet at the age of 16. They are so excited to be back in Auburn after working for a couple of years in Birmingham. In their free time, the Caldwells enjoy spending time with friends, family, and their furry friends outside or by the water.

DR. GUY MAY

Dr. Guy May grew up around veterinary medicine, working at his father's veterinary practice at a very young age. He enjoys the diversity of veterinary medicine, allowing him to participate in many areas of practice including dermatology, internal medicine, oncology, radiology, surgery, dentistry, and pharmacology. The highlight of his career, so far, is that he met his wife, Beverly, through working as a veterinarian. Dr. May is an avid runner, having completed many marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and has participated in several Hood to Coast Relays in Oregon. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, working in the yard, playing tennis, reading, and trail running.

WHY?

The question “why” is the motivating force for many of the things that we do, and it gives us purpose and perspective. For us, the answer to that question is to be a difference maker in the community that we serve by having an enduring commitment to the health and wellness of pets and their parents.

We genuinely believe that there is something uniquely different about our clinic, and we hope that you will see that too. We want your visit to MAC to be a streamlined experience where you feel that your needs and wishes are the focus of every staff member.

We also want to develop lasting and meaningful relationships with the people and pets of our community by making our conversations about more than just veterinary medicine. We love this community and desire to live alongside you through the good and bad times.

Lastly, we believe that our experiences shape us. We have experienced a lifetime of loss and tragedy, and because of this, it better equips us to develop deep relationships with transparency and grace.

We would be so thankful if you would stop by for a visit. See you soon.

Dr. Dan
